These Terms govern use of Yes Chef software and related services. By creating an account or using Yes Chef you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Service
Yes Chef provides restaurant operations tooling. For Square Marketplace sellers, the featured use case is food safety, due diligence, compliance evidence, corrective actions, and audit trail. Other modules (for example inventory or POS features inside Yes Chef) may be available depending on your package; they do not replace Square’s POS or payment processing.
2. Accounts and organisations
You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. Organisation owners are responsible for authorised users and site configuration.
3. Subscriptions and trial
- Paid plans and displayed prices are as shown at signup / pricing (VAT-inclusive where stated).
- A free trial may be offered; features may be limited by package entitlements.
- Billing is handled by Yes Chef via Stripe — not via Square checkout for Yes Chef fees.
LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED: cancellation notice periods and refund policy wording for each jurisdiction.
4. Square connection
If you connect Square, you authorise Yes Chef to access Square data under the scopes you approve on Square’s OAuth screen (currently merchant profile / locations only). You may disconnect at any time in Yes Chef or revoke access in Square. Disconnecting Square does not cancel your Yes Chef subscription; cancelling Yes Chef billing does not by itself revoke Square access until you disconnect or revoke.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, or use Yes Chef to violate food-safety or other laws. Compliance outcomes remain your responsibility; Yes Chef is a tool to record and organise due diligence.
6. Intellectual property
Yes Chef software and branding remain our property. Your content and records remain yours, subject to the licence needed to host and process them for the service.
7. Limitation of liability
LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED: jurisdiction-specific limitation and indemnity clauses.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yes Chef is provided on an “as available” basis. We are not liable for Square platform outages or decisions made solely on Square’s systems.
